About Hudson Street Cottages

Hudson Cottage SOLD OUTHudson Cottages was completely sold-out in 2007 and construction was finished in early 2008. Hudson Cottages is now being enjoyed by its residents for its sense of community, ease of living and comfortable green-built homes. Contact Eco Concepts Realty for resale opportunities.

Hudson Street Cottages was Asheville’s first “green” courtyard cottage development. The community consists of six single-family cottages and two attached carriage units, which are located over an eight-car garage.

Hudson Street Cottages is an Eco Concepts Development community. Eco Concepts Development selected materials to be both durable and contribute to healthy indoor air quality. Two solar hot water panels are on the rooftop of each unit. The solar hot water panels are connected to the hot water and radiant floor systems and are estimated to produce an average of 80,000 BTU’s per day.

Home Energy Partners helped design the homes to meet HealthyBuilt Silver rating. This certification process ensures the purchaser that the development was not only designed to be green, but was built green too!

Desirably located in walkable West Asheville and an easy quarter mile walk from Sunny Point Café, sidewalks connect this infill development with the heart of West Asheville’s commercial district. Residents can forget the car at home and enjoy a relaxing walk to access your daily shopping and entertainment needs.
